What's on your workbench?

 This could be git related or not. So, what's on your workbench at the moment?

I have 4 scarf joint necks in different stages of work.

A 25" scale pine 5 string neck for a Banjo-Res, A 25" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Strat-Res build, A 24 & 1/2" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Double Cut Tele build and a 27" scale 6 string Baritone Conversion neck for a Modern Strat body I have.

Working on guitar using a Boy Scout mess kit, the tin even has the "be prepared" logo on it.  The rib on clamp on the tin it planned to work for the bridge, trying to add scout like details such as a wooden match for the nut.  The angles are to match the tin, the strings will pass thru the top block.  The neck is not attached, just clamped to show the intent.  Any scout-ish suggestions are welcome!

I was planning to leave it whole, but you have me thinking.  Do you mean like a resonator or a gap between the two halves as a sort of sound hole or something else?

I thought your plan was for a resonator. You could drill some sound holes in the mess kit or leave a gap like you said.

Jl's ideas of using the utensils and first aid kit are great.
