This could be git related or not. So, what's on your workbench at the moment?

I have 4 scarf joint necks in different stages of work.

A 25" scale pine 5 string neck for a Banjo-Res, A 25" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Strat-Res build, A 24 & 1/2" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Double Cut Tele build and a 27" scale 6 string Baritone Conversion neck for a Modern Strat body I have.

I never came across a dud. but im sure its possible. the box walls are 3/8 and lid and bottom is 3/16.

#7, 3 string fretted ,Tassie Oak neck ,R&J #1 box which is a bit bigger than the #3 box going to let the neck in 1/3 from top of box to accommodate the size of box while playing ,got given a box a freebie parts ,pickups, jacks ,machine heads and other goodies ,its going to be my first fretted neck so looking forward to learning a new skill .

Freebies are always nice, god luck on your build. If you don't do a thread on it, post a pic or 2 here so we can see it.

I did some work on the neck for my Bo Diddly build. Using the usual Red Oak and the neck goes all the way to the end of the box. Not sure if I'm going to do a rollor bridge and tremolo or just a regular hardtail bridge.

Here's a couple mock up pics.

I took apart the 1st CBG I made, a bass diddley bow, and am refurbing the heck out of it. The only thing from the first one is going to be the pick axe handle neck, pots and jack.

after refurb it'll be 30" scale, with a 14k alnico humbucker in the far neck postition. Tuner from my Bronco, long narrow Undercrown box. Should have it redone in a couple days, though I am thinking about sanding and staining it.

Been working on this lil uke today, got so far then realised ive only got three tuners, no string ferrules... At least it gives me a few days to do the fretting and decide if i want to make it electric or not ☺

That looks like it'll make a good Uke. I'm thinking about a Mando build in the future.

14k in the neck position should supply a lot of Bass.

Sounds like a big rebuild. Want a finished pic of that Sean.

Not a CBG, but a 12" radio-controlled SE5a WW1 fighter.....

It's a kit from Microaces here in the UK.

Tim

Nice.

Couple pics of one I am building. It's been 6 months since I have done one.

Don't worry, it's like riding a bicycle.
