tune i'm working one. maybe be worth a shit sooner than later! ha!
**********
Well i use to live in,
this old town,
that ran a dirty mill,
and it just let us all down.

Well it was shutting down an,
there wasn't many people left around,
and it was a quiet town.

when i moved to town,
i lived in an old crack den,
and i hadda explain then that,
I didn't sell,
but i made a lotta friends,
because i know, how it feels to live,
on the bottom end.

now late at nights,
i'd often go for,
a late night stroll,
just to see the town and....

i used to love,
walking in the fresh snow,
watch it come down and,
listen to that perfect sound and.....

i'd stand in,
the intersection and,
wonder if you'd ever,
remember me at all,
while watchin the snow flakes fallin'.

now your so far a,
far away.
and i'd give anything to know,
if those pretty eyes are still glowin'.

i used to live in,
a dirty mill town,
with not many people still,
hanging around,
cause they were shuttin 'er down...

Just like Leeds (UK) in the 60s!

Soulful, heartfelt, like it a lot 'Stains'. (Don't tell me it's total fiction ... I just couldn't take it!!!

B-)

Wow, Stains.  Nobody is BS-ing you.   This is great stuff.  Real, gritty and heart felt.   Reminds me of the great Chris Knight and others..   Good on yer.  Must be the hat.
