Thanks for your kind comments and suggestions to crank up the string. Full disclosure: the pickup surround came from Gitty. It would take me too many hours and a 4x8 sheet to finally get a piece that nice. Stay tuned.... I am still buildin'!

Nice job on the pickup surround.  If I did it that way it would likely be because I messed up on the cut for the pickup.   WHAMMMY!     Hunh.
