Thanks Erasmo. It'll be more fun than mowing the lawn like my wife wants me to do.

Ha, thanks Titch. It's so cool that you mentioned Ventures tunes when talking about this. That's exactly what I was relating it to while trying to get a handle on playing it. Santos and Johnny's Sleepwalk was also in my mind. Doggone you, now I have to figure out Pipeline or something similar on this surprisingly difficult instrument! Whether or not I can pull it off remains to be seen but that felt like a challenge, lol.

Why is it that whenever I see something on this site that makes me go WOW! it either has Jims name on it or Jim comes out with his version a day or so later that makes me go WOW! again.

That original whammy bar puts me in mind of Ventures music. It would be great if you could play Pipeline on it. The tones put me more in mind of Apache though. Never mind I expect it works better as a conceptual auditory visual pun and would take way too much time and effort to pull off in real life.

Thanks Derek. I've made and played one string diddley bows before but this plucked harmonic along with trying for accurate whammy bends is kinda blowing my old mind!

That is pretty slick, Jim.

I feel it man. The struggle is real.

Thanks Brent. The problem is now I'm intrigued by this instrument and want the genuine article. Then I'd need to devote a bunch of time learning to play it and there's just not enough hours in the day!
