Thanks RTZ! There's a part in John Steinbeck's a conversation between two hombres and two gallons of wine! If your interested, we can find a tree somewhere and get some fact checking done about "Tortilla Flats"! Ha! A 1935 novel, not familiar with it much at all. There is a Tortilla Flats Gourmet Mexican Cuisine a few miles up the coast in Santa Cruz, sounds like a good place to get started. Thanks for keeping me on my toes!

Thanks Derek, awesome comments! Uncle definitely set the tone and anchored me from getting to electric. This took a while, been one this video since UJ gifted me the Partagas three string. It had the perfect sound for this trip down memory lane. I'll take the Emerson of EL&P comparison, no revolving keyboard though! Wow! Thanks Derek!

I'm a youngster at 67, I had to google "Hobo Bill's Last Ride". Uncle' yodel tipped you off! Jimmie Rogers, depression blues, spot on AGP! As a result I listened to a song from the Great Depression I got to try called Foreclosure Blues. Thanks for the like AGP!

Thanks Dave! Yes, Uncle's songs have an authenticity of the great old blues standards, a perfect fit here. I live here and I haven't seen the movies, my bad! It is now on my list to do.

Well I was wondering when you were going to wake up Uncle! Got your first royalty check and more signatures of yours on the dotted lines needed. I wanted to use "Go Tell It On The Mountain " , but sea level you know! Thank you so much for your generous comments John! I tweaked the EQ on your song a bit to make them sound like old 78 rpm records. The hammer comes down is my shortest song. It usually takes me a few minutes into a song before the old brain cells kick in. This time they did early, so I ended before the cows and dogs noticed. Your songs are the stars! I had a blast doing this. Thanks for the use of your songs UJ.
