Comment by Jim Morris on April 28, 2017 at 2:05am: Thanks Erasmo. Yeah, there are a lot of Irish and Scottish murder ballads but usually it's the fair maiden who gets stabbed/shot/poisoned/drowned. This song turns that around. I might have to seek this gentleman's permission to use the song in some performances.

This song has a few more chords in it than a lot of songs but they're all certainly attainable with a little work. It was fun working this out and great to be introduced to the songs of Shane Adkins.
