Our CBG Club has met 15 times in Mint Hill, North Carolina, USA [east of Charlotte, NC].  We have 14 on the email list.  We meet the 1st Saturday of each month in a private dining room at a restaurant at 11:00am to about 3:00pm.

Each meeting we:

1. Have a guitar/amp show and tell,
2. Solve any construction problems,
3. Make sure everyone has a Blues slide playing exercise,
4. Present a short discussion topic.

  We hope to begin a simple jam soon.

We're having great fun, thank you Smilingdog for guidance that helped us get started.

Thank You for putting this up front page today guys! Already several CBG enthusiast have made contact with others in their areas and are discussing where and how to form their own clubs.

Yes, I contacted & was given advice by smilingdog1 in Sept of 2015 about getting a club started, and we meet monthly since Oct 2015. "CBG Minded Michigan'ders" has completed 16 meetings so far. We have a face book page by our club name for your viewing pleasure. We'd enjoy being part of this group. CBGitty & Swamp Witch Guitars both helped get us started too. We have club members from across our state, in all directions.

I started a FB page for all of you and anyone else who needs to connect better. CBN limits visibility for this kind of collaboration that's needed. So if you are interested go here to this page (All Cigar Box Guitar Clubs Meet Here!) on Face Book and ask to join, it's a closed group to keep spam and con artist out. You will be able to post and invite and share feedback with friends there from all over the world.
