This one, not very pretty, but a bigger box gives it a big sound unplugged, though it leans to the bassier tones,[ that may be due to too much sound hole area], it sounds great plugged in as well, but like UJ, my swampy is the one i go to if i want to get LOUD

Jim, a really nice pair.   I know first hand that you build good players.

Roger, I love the  metal one.

Tom T, that is a really fine sixer.

Funky bridge, Turtle.   Love the resonator.  I've heard that one enough to think it is special.  And the looks suit me well.

Hound, nice.   Mag pup and rod piezo?

Darryl, nice self build and great Swampy.  Maybe the most historic swampy?

Ron, I re watched that video.   Man, you got a lot of that T stuff.

Clockwise from top left:

“Copperhead Road” is my all-around favorite, nicest to play, homemade 3-stringer.

For me, “The Way” is one if the most entertaining guitars I've made. It's crazy fooling around with the sounds and effects one can get from it.

“Sakura” was a fun build- an experiment in cubism, of sorts. There's just something about this one that speaks to me.

“Blues Cat” is simply a good-sounding box that I really enjoy slapping.

That's a neat little three-stringer leaning up against "Blues Cat."

Curious, how do you usually use "The Way"? I mean, do you go back and forth between the necks during a single song, or what?

Thanks, Darryl and Lane. And Lane, the little 3-string up against Blues Cat is a McNally Strumstick. Examples of 'em on youtube, etc.

And yeah, I'll switch necks during a single song, playing chords and a little lead on the 3-string, a quick attack on the high string, perhaps, and maybe a short break of a bass run. (With any luck, I'm able to untangle my hands from the guitar's necks within an hour or so after all this.)

Sorry, Uncle John, but you didn't specify home-made and I do love my Tele.  This isn't mine but it's the same model.  Edited to add ......except mine has a maple fingerboard.  Edited again.... and a modern bridge.  OK, it's not really like this but it is a red Tele :-\
