Yes, this will probably get eaten through in a matter of weeks, but I had to try it anyway.

I picked up some old, hard leather tack gear and decided to put it to work here.

On this build I drilled 45-deg holes through the top and tail. I wanted a tailpiece that floats. I cut a short length off a very stiff, thick strap. The leather is pulled in place by the strings.

Don't worry about that "lick of sense" Wayfinder. Not really needed to make these things and sometimes it gets in the way (pun intended).

I agree wholeheartedly. He is just about my sole soars e for all my guitar goodies. He reads my mind on new toys to add. Doesn't rip you off with the prices.

Support Ben Gitty, the man deserves some huge credit for trying to make a business out of supplying info and parts to DIYers. That's just such a risky move.

DIYers are notoriously bad customers.

Shame on us.

Well Paul, I'd confess to searching for an "off topic" group, I knew there had to be something. The closest thing I found was "rants and raves" and I ain't goin' there!

So I am not that shocked to learn of the Curmudgeons. Although I am very surprised I am not a founding member.

Templates: I hated to... but I gave them the $7 and these are really nice to have, they are on thick paper I'm sure they will last.
