Thanks matey!
Compass inlay.

My dual-bridge Padron Cigar Box Ukulele with vertical tuning pegs and string through-holes on head.

This one sounds as good as my store-bought ukuleles (Gary Gifford).

This was fun project.  I laminated 5 pieces of wood together for the neck.  The neck woods are mahogany and poplar.  The fretboard is walnut and the bridge is rosewood.

Looking through all these builds..

You guys are making some of the most incredible instrumets. I'm proud to be a member of this community. I get the feeling that these builds will have a huge impact in the future and we're all here doing our stuff, some for money, some for the hell of it but all of us doing it for the craft.

A gift, personal or a sale.. We all sit back when we create something and get that feeling.. 'That was me, I did that, listen to this, look at this!'

World wide folk art based on the past and brought into the future. Culture will look back on this 'musical instrument movement' and see it in whatever way they want to judge it. They did this. They made a change. Found in cupboards and attics of our grandchildren, sought after by collector's.

All of these instruments are wonderful. Be proud.

Well said Fomhorach! I've looked at most of these builds and have been in awe of the artistic touches on many of them. Almost to the point of not wanting to enter any of my humble ukes into this wonderful collection. But then I saw that the winners will be drawn at random so I think I'll go ahead and post a couple of mine in the next few days. I'm real happy to be in the company of such creative folks!

"Aloha" Is a double neck Uke with bamboo skewer frets and hand painted Tiki design. I was experimenting with standard uke strings on one and steel strings on the other.

And my latest....

Ingenious. Well done

Very cool!

LOve it, espec the bamboo motif.
