Play it as is Fomhorach and astound people at your next gig or busking session. Is that a functioning built in speaker too? I'd have bought it for £20 too. Sounds like you got a bargain. Looking forward to seeing how you get on with it.

Sweet! I suspect you'll be able to turn that into something special!

Keep your eyes peeled guys. I saw this little 20" child's rock nightmare in a second hand store. £20.

Nothing special. The electrics work badly, the action is so high it would be better as a cheese grater. There's evidence of someone desperately attempting to fix it.

The neck has been removed at some point and sits slightly off center. So I flip it over and find someone has replaced the tuning heads.... With these :))

We have an old fashioned push mower.  The only thing that will start it is a good breakfast and threats of no dinner.

The advantage is it is non-polluting, no emissions other than from the operator.

My mowers recoil starter cord fell out of its holder last time I mowed, and I  backed over it.

Now its a partial cord....  Ha!

Like the old lawn mowers. It took a cord to start them. I prefer the newer ones with electric start.

What about a diddley bow with a magnetic pickup?  Wouldn't that need a cord?

Comment by Mark Bliss on September 26, 2016 at 12:13pm

Well, the diddly bow would certainly be chordless.......

Your a lot of help here Duck. :-)

Should the "power cord" have a two prong or three prong plug?  What if you are using batteries or solar?  I thought if you used batteries it was "cordless".  Does that apply to a diddley bow?

Oh, and never shy away from a "for dummies" title. Many of them are very good. However, the music theory edition, while a great reference to have on hand, its not the best beginner theory text I have seen.

As is typical, it causes the proverbial "eyes glazed over" symptom pretty quickly.

Still..... Recommended title.
