Well to start with, you need to find just the right box....... Put a sturdy dowel through the center and chuck it in a drill, turn it down to size, remove said dowel, drill some holes using the correct flute hole drilling template. Create a mouthpiece out of a genuine Elk bone, carve a bamboo reed and mount a small piezo disc to the mouthpiece EXACTLY 15 mm past the sound
hole......

Piece of cake.

OK boys, back on task. Until one of you builds a cigar box sax, no more woodwind talk! :-) Duck, key of L with the amp turned up to 11 is my favorite style - chases the kids out of the house pretty quick!

I was lead to believe that once you get past the basics, you don't play sax, the sax plays you.

I think that's what that little valve up by the mouthpiece was for. :-)

I played sax in school band. Middle school. I am fairly certain I proved one could hit an H note. :-)
