I hate sanding

I am a cheap SOB, but I learned a LONG time ago that good sandpaper is three times the value of the cheap stuff...
@Way. I meditate in the dunnie and let thsr paper do the job he he he. Nothin like a bit of toilet humour he he
From the looks of your post, it seems you think sanding's a...

Beach.

Have you tried liquid sanding? Just put your wood in a running stream of water. It may take a few (hundred) years. But works great for rocks!

John Sawyer has got it right. 3M sand paper = 3x the work. Good sandpaper is worth every extra $ you spend on it.

Three words: Random. Orbit. Sander. :-)

Sandin Sux. Its like weeding. I was a gardener once and used to hide in the tool shed when the weeds got high. The residents were always wonderin where I was he he he

I'm just finishing a 1.8 m x 1m table,thought it was good,1st coat of oil,nup,sand,sand,sand again,not happy

it looked ok live, but i took a pic to send to my son,one look, and oh shit, the camera caught EVERY flaw, both minor, and major,i knew it wasn't close to perfect, but the camera really exposed it

i knew there were flaws, but the camera made it embarrassing,it looked like a cornfield

I'm with you on that one.

Damm cameras

Ain't you supposed to hide in the shed to get high from the weeds?
