Hello Glenn ! last best as they say ! must compliment you on your Christmas Album contribution ! GREAT Track simple beat ,slick bass, fine lines, and a great blow on the side horns ! it smelled christmas fine Glenn!
I am building a CBG site-not commercial- and answered a question of how I got started with this and the answer is that I have been your fan for a long time and found you on a YouTube link to see what you are up to now.
i posted that YouTube link on my site TunesFromTrash.com and hope you approve of me using it.
My other site is JesusChristExalted.com and I would like to reference your GRRR sitee there, please.
Glenn: I was impressed by pics put up recently of a 5-gallon bucket bass, and (I think) your name was mentioned by the builder, thanking you for the idea. Do you have plans for such a bass that you could share?
Hi There Glenn, Thanks for the Comments and the feedback, i got the info and the picture from a site about The Dockery Plantation it was about african roots and the origen from the primitiv instruments the prison slaves used, have not got a URL i was under the inpression i logged it under favorits ,but i did not, hope it helps ! Greeeeettsss A.D.
Glenn, Thanks for friending me! Beaver Dam native! I'm an Illinois transplant from 74'. Still love cheese! I own an audio studio, I rec. singer/songwriters and recently started recording bands. I re-mixed and mastered Shane's Empty Wooden Box. Shane dropboxed the files and I loaded them in Logic...
Cheers Glenn, for your comments. Interestingly, we've done gigs in your neck of the woods - Chicago that is, organised through our good friend J. Brian Hill. We keep saying we need to go back at some point.
Thanks for the tips re wood. It's not usually socially acceptable to raid rubbish (known as "skip tatting " locally over here) but it's certainly not illegal. So I'm just going to have to defy social convention and go for it!
Hi there Glenn, Thanks for your reaction on the Picture, the stomp box is made up of the wooden box whit a spring inside whit a piezo wired to it and connected to a jack input, and the stompbox on top is a drumsynt drummers in the 60 used for special effects on the drumkit, you can place it on the rim or like i did on a box connect to amp; its called a CORON DS -8 (brand) Percussion&Drum Synthe its got about 3 waves volume rate mode sweep delay all to work the freq ocilater intensity noise and effect on it is triggerd by movement i use it for a deep bass like sound or high cimble like. thanks again for asking hope this answers your question! Greeettszzz A.D.
Exactly, cool journey. I was messing around with the one I just gave away and managed to pull off Child of the Blues. I brought REZ to Omaha in 90/91 maybe opportunity will present itself to get you down Houston way. Thanks for the reply, love looking at the pictures of your builds. So many great builders here, I'm learning a lot and had no idea I was as impulsive as I am becoming with these things LOL :)
Thanks Glenn for accepting my fried req, I'm new to CBN - bought one of your CBGs and been hooked ever since. A total rush building and playing CBGs. Been a fan of yours since forever it seems :)
Thnx 4the comment(I'm a Iil' late) on the Minty.
I believe the magic happens with the 2 smaller capacitors on the input/output
of the circuit, they're additional filters that take out the sucky noise.the Smokey has only 2 Capacitors in it that filter DC rather than tone, Minty is pretty much a modded version of the Smokey. Nice page!
