Comment by Dave Lynas on June 29, 2016 at 3:49pm: I think the neck through is most sturdy. I like to leave some vibrating room between the neck through and top. At least a quarter inch. Sometimes I put a sound post under the bridge between the top and neck through. Then everything is sturdy.
