Thanks for sharing Brent. Think I might have to take a look at that. Here's the link on Amazon UK for those of us over here.

Wayfinder, my friend. That is just so, so cool a design. It takes a really twisted mind to come up with something so original and neat. Congratulations on your originality.............
Thanks, I'd like to see that altoids dulci. I've been playing dulcimers for a long time but this is new to me. Just made it like my reg. box guitars. We'll see how it sounds. Thanks again!!
Hey all, I'm building a dulcitar 4 string. What should I tune the strings to? I don't have any doubled up. Thanks
You gave some strong and useful info there as always Wayfinder. Just trying to navigate my way around understanding backing tracks, how to jam, why my attempts seem to be lacking something and generally whether there are some notes that follow on better from others. Really helpful with the Audacity info BTW. I didn't know about dragging whole tracks so that's going to hella help. Thanks muchly.
I'm confused by jamming along to music in the form of backing tracks. Is it really as simple as selecting the right backing track key and having at it? For instance, I've noticed a lot on backing track apps that I've bought, selecting a key of E that I'll be playing in will give me backing tracks in Eb or 7. I don't understand why, but do I need to know why? I've tried attacking some backing tracks with the minor blues scale and while it was really fun I felt it lacked something. Does that "something" come with time and a greater musical vocabulary? Do I need to concentrate on learning more riffs? Are there notes that shouldn't be strung together or do I just play what sounds and feels right? Help appreciated by this aspiring player lost in the fretboard wilderness!
hi good people,i can build them, now I have to learn how to play them, thank,s for any advice.
Hi MadGomer, Thanks for the feedback. Rick
