The easiest pickup to build ever! - Low impedance pickup THIS WILL BLOW YOUR MIND

You can with a can! Played with a knife and a wooden spoon

1)Central hole in can bottom
2) screw with insulation tape around it to hold it in place (must be isolated from can )
3)Ni magnet on top of screw
3)Drill 2 holes in side of base
4) fit 2 screws with washers and nuts
5)2.5mm copper link wire through the centre of the tranfomer
6)solder on connection to two terminals on 1:500 transformer. (AS 104)
7) connect to pre-amp or drive pedal before amp or turn up amp loud.
easy!

In 2012 I tried to crack this and failed ending up inventing the Bug vibro coil, but re inspired recently by Wayfinders Blog...
...we're onto it!

Tonally awesome, no noise, so simple to build, and totally unlimited to what you can build around the concept...

Inductance the two loops system!

Looks like a great way to make a home-made pickup. Also looks like you can make the pickup really thin and hide the amplification gubbins somewhere else.

Great job Bug, and good on Wayfinder, Oily et al for inspiring you to go into the shed and bash some metal.
