Well, it certainly beats watching a home-made pickup winder going round for several hours before snapping the hair-thin wire.  Looks like a great way to make a home-made pickup.  Also looks like you can make the pickup really thin and hide the amplification gubbins somewhere else.

Great job Bug, and good on Wayfinder, Oily et al for inspiring you to go into the shed and bash some metal.

In 2012 I tried to crack this and failed ending up inventing the vibro coil, but re inspired recently by Wayfinders Blog...were onto it!

Tonally awesome, no noise, so simple to build, and totally unlimited to what you can build around the concept... Inductance the two loops system.

Any chance of getting a raw video demo without effects?  I'd like to do a feature on this, but I need a simpler video without the hoopla.
