Wow, thanks John. I got an easy one started today. It's a hi fi amp. Just had to put a guitar Jack where the phono Jack was and wire in a nice 8 inch speaker. I'll make a cabinet to house the two and I'll have it. It sounds great even without a box. Your spirit guided me. Thanks!

I just watched your great intro to hacking the old radios and tape decks. Loved it a second time. Very tantalizing. Wish there were more clear close up shots of the wired connections. I still don't quite have it figured out. I've got some of the right radios but am still timid. But thanks Beetle!

This is perfect! I just picked up a Sears Silvertone 1966 tube radio at the local thrift store for $4.50!! My first thought when I saw it on the shelf was CIGAR BOX GUITAR AMP...
