Hi Phil, you get Swamp Witch strings from the Anonimous Pick. Just click on Pick. :^)

thanx  for the plug  Dave  ,  yes  the swamp witch strings are hi grade nickel/steel  and work great   on  mag  pups  .  or piezos  . or  rods  .

Hey Roy, I like Swamp Witch strings with the peizo. They mellow the sound. I like electric strings for single coils. I thinks the Witch strings work good on either.

Hello y'all ! everybody!  I've been a not so well active member, sorry about that, but I have a question. I have already built 8 CBG's and have found problems with type of strings to use with piezo and regular single coil pickups. My guess is that acoustic strings sound much better with the piezo pickups? and electric strings for the single coils of course.   correct ? or personal preference ?

Hi Jody, your better posting in here instead of sending a message.

I don't use plans for my fretboard, I clamp my measuring tape to the fretboard with my scale length at the nut, grab my calculator and multiply the number by 0.9439.. Then that number by 0.9439.. Then that one.. Etc etc.. Then I double check the 12th is half the scale length. Voilà.

Saves time looking to fret scale plans and allows me to choose which scale length I want to build (or more technically, how long my bit of wood is :)
