Thanks Jeff. Screen doors, toy mics, rubber bands stretched taut - These are things that make this so much fun!

I hear you Unc. I like stuff to sound just like it sounds with very little enhancement. It's fun to experiment sometimes though!

Hi Jim,

I had some success with the spring from an old screen door. I cut it to length and attached it inside a CBG, underneath my neck through design. If the box is deep enough it works pretty well. I may throw a piezo in there to see how my "reverb" sounds amped up as well. Accousticly it gives a jangly reverb sound. I suppose it could be adjusted by using a tighter or looser spring. I used what I had in my basement at the time. Love the fiddle by the way.

It looked to technical for me, Jim.   I am not much into effects.   Well I like some delay on the amp.  And someday I would like to try a Wah pedal.

Thanks AGP. Sometimes I'd like to turn down the "think" and crank up the "do"

Thanks Wes. That groundhog up in PA predicted an early spring but I don't think this is what he meant. I need to make me a resonator and give that a try!
