Thanks for the info Ron. I've got a SwampWitch but I promised Pick I'd never open it to discover any of his secrets. If I came across one by accident, my apologies Pick. Now I'm gonna go shake my Swampy and see if I can hear a spring inside!

The anonymous pick puts a reverb spring inside most of his SwampWitch guitars. It is activated by vibration of the box. The effect is acoustically subtle, but distinguishable.
