Totally welcome as far as the comments, Andries. Yep the case/box build is playing sweet. Just bought a chrome slide and some fingerpicks so playing around with those. Chrome sounds great on the build. Schaweet as a nut!

Yeah Andries, I'm hoping to continue the series all thru 2016. As much as I can and still keep up with builds. I'm definitely hoping for one with you but haven't spent enough time with the mp3 of yours yet. It's on my list for sure!

Ghost echo is just a creepy amp sound, I haven't listened to many vids lately but I was listening with head phones and it sounded good. You and bug put out a lot of really good stuff.

I have found very little information on the makers of King Edward Cigars, I'm sure they have they have been around for many years, certainly at least 50, and as far as I can tell, they're still being made today.

Thanks for your fun comments on the elixir.  Now, do you want to order a case?    Good music on your page.  Good enough I might try to listen to it and play some computer chess.

Hey, it sounded pretty good.  What string did you use.  I wish I could fiddle.

I looked at the fiddle vid - most excellent! Now I have to make another one using pete1 just for comparison. Good job my friend!

Ahhh.... now you've let your secret out! Yeah, you definitely make a song like Sittin On Top into something completely new with your new chords and different melody. That's what makes you a unique talent! The original Carter Family have all passed away but there's a lawyer for the heirs (I guess) who pursues anyone who does one of their songs without paying up. It's a bit ironic since AP Carter took most of their songs from traditional hymns and ballads, changed the words some and then put his name on as composer.

Hi A.D , thanks for the friend request :-) I think there may have been an advantage living in  harbour / port locations in the 60's UK.. I was born 1969 and never really enjoyed much of the pop music as a teen in the 80's , so started looking back for music I enjoyed ! I'm a player, although not very talented or confident . I have started a collection of bits but not actually built yet! As I said before I really like your music, it is so unique .What are your influences Andries ?  and is there a A.D secret in your recordings?

Looking good Andres. Plastic head? The reso got finished except for some varnish work. It sounds nice and resony toou. Not near as loud as the rehabs but the cones in those monsters are twice the size, both guitar and cone. I played the Immagrant last night for a long time. Sweet metal tone and good action for pinkie slide work with finger picking on the bass frets

Hey, I commented on your pic about pre drilling holes in the coconut that might work. I love gourds because you can just push thumbtacks in by hand. This is a peg making vid I did a while back but you've probably already got that figured out.

Looks like you've got all the parts! I used 7up because it's what I had and it was bigger than some of the other stuff I had. I've used all different kinds of food and drink containers as long as they say pete 1.

Yeah Andries, don't know if you saw this a couple of years ago but here's an idea.
