Have tried many searches to find a hard wood, preferably maple, wood disc to use as a biscuit bridge on my dog dish reso built. I finally hit the jackpot when this popped up. The dimensions are perfect for me but may require a reduction in thickness or diameter for some and a slot for the saddle needs to be cut.
Two solid maple biscuit bridges for $3.99 with free shipping. Who'd a thunk it.

Cool..You could use this on a cello, too (haha).
That's how I found this!
As yo yo's go, it's a small one, 2 1/4" in diameter and each "half" 1/2" or less thick....the exact size I need for my dog dish reso, May have to thin it a bit....and it's hard maple!
I have been using wood I have for knife scales. Right now I am using up a wood i call blood wood. It does a number on any cutting tool almost have to lubricate. Makes fantastic bridges and nuts. Just a lot of fi8ling. Scales come in about 2 inck wide ny 6 inch by 1/4.
I'm going to make a bridge and nut out of these, I'll post some pic when I'm done
probably make good nuts and saddles. Wasn't there a cartoon character that would have gone running around hollering "hey, taguas got nuts!!!!!!!!"
