I am going to be outta town a week this month.But i will fit the contest in. I need a Bonehead. Or a Bairfoot Cajun special HE HE HE!!!
No guys rule #2 you cant use wood!.
Lookout fellow Cigar Box Nationals. I have already got some Ideas rolling round in my big melon head! Seeyall at the finish line.

Hey Brian/Steve what is the actual submittal deadline date?

Oh one more thing. Thanks for doing this in here (CBN) I am still a lil challenged getting comfortable with the Yahoo bulders group.

ted they make cigarboxes out of metal and plastic i think one of those would qualify as long as the box is not wood, that is bonehead,s request,(no wood) in the guitar build.

Cool Guys let the games begin - no wood should make it very intresting - i have been thinking of a unusual build for a while now and guess what ???....it's not wood.. OOOOOhhhh this is gonna be like a walk in the Park hahahahahahahahah!!
One Question ?? - are you prepared to ship your Guitar to the UK Bonehead ??? lol!!

randy i think you could use antler,yep especially elk i am curious to see how that would turn out. have fun my friend and be a creative thinker like i know you can, cause i have seen your work. this contest is about most unusual design but it is also about having fun and being outside the wooden box. the members of this group will decide who has the no.1 build and the no.2 build and both no.1 and no. 2 will get a cool guitar for their efforts in creative design.

TINQU18, i can,t wait to see what you come up with, i think you will be very creative in your efforts.have a good time my friend.dont forget you have to vote on the two best builds,the members of this group decides who will get the guitars that bonehead and the bairfoot cajun will give away. lesser les bon temps rouller.

the subject came up in the chat room tonight about using bamboo,the challenger made the call and said he is ok with using bamboo. if any body wants to know.

ok Delvero you are on the list if you dont get to finish you project we will continue to have challenges of this kind to keep life here in the unusual guitar design group a fun place to hang out so the next challenge might be more appealing to ya.this is just the beginning, i would like to have a new challenge every other month if possible but we will see how that goes.maybe it will be one every three months.instead of 6 per year it would be 4 per year.always with some kind of cool award to the winner.so let us have a good time,and we are looking forward to see your results and all the others that will eventually enter.maybe the next challenge will be one with wood and wood only we will see.
