I lack the skills to do  a good bridge job and have had some good success adding a metal tail piece to string the strings from.  And sometimes camoflauging the old string pin holes.  This one of yours looks worth the effort or money to do it more correctly.

Looks like a solid spruce top and maybe mahogany or cherry back and sides?

I'm trying to find out how old it is and what the original specs would have been although I don't plan on a full restoration, just playable.

IT will need a new bridge I think, the tuners are shot though I have oil on them so I'll see if I can save them. There is a crack in the top but it looks to have been repaired already, I guess when the bridge was replaced. It has a wood nut which I think would have been bone originally but seems to be in good shape. Overall very good condition considering it may be from early 1900s?
