Took the license plate gitty and the gas can banjo to a party this weekend and made some noise around the campfire.  Forgot some verses, hit some sour notes, sang off key, etc.  Learned some things:

1. Make sure the band is slightly less inebriated than the audience.

2. Have a 'set list' so you don't forget what songs you know, especially if rule #1 is not observed.

3. People are amazed at homemade instruments, so you really don't have to be that good a player to wow them.  Unless rule #1 is not observed.

So I kept it short & sweet and spent the rest of the evening explaining how to build a cigar box guitar.

Good times.

I love the frets. I need to do one like that for my Blues Frog.

If I do, I hope you don't take offense for stealing (Or borrowing) your idea.

CBGs rule!

Superb mate, go ahead and grow those balls. Your public is waiting for you.
Loved your tune it was lovely. I'm knocking on too and never felt that I'd ever have the courage to 'get up'.........I'm up at every opportunity now.
I've found it's all 'in your head'....the fear, the phobia, the not knowing......guess what? we only walk this way once. Get up and do it, learn from it, then get up again. (a big helping of rehearsing also helps ha)
Great tone and super vocals. go for it mate.
