I never trusted a man who was afraid to go barefoot. It's the only way to really get connected to Mother Earth, plus it feels good to walkin' in the sand along the river :-)

Nice ditty John!

Nice song Unlce John. I'm fairly new to playing, I'm gonna try losing the shoes to see if my fingerpicking improves.

That is really nice, Shane.  I think yours are pretty close to the best, especially for acoustic sound.   Let me think about it.  I've had a thing about playing just my own.  Pick surprised me with a Swampy and I have certainly enjoyed it.

AGP, maybe that's why the cats ran out of the den.

I DO need a tuba.   And lessons.  And talent.  Probably too late in life to start.   Especially if I want to continue being married.  But I like tuba.

Barefoot bayou puckin' all you need is a tuba john.

Thanks, Clock and Pick.   I think a lot of folks did this song.  I like Mississippi John's version.Wes, that could be a good and fun combination.   Wish we could do it.
Thanks, Rooster.   Thanks, Nancy.   I like the old love songs too,   Cool Betsy Ross cats!
Thanks James O and Calim.

And thanks, Sammy.   Yup, that box tenor is my main guitar of late.  Played it yesterday in my den with a friend and then we took it out and played a bit at another friends.  Not quite as loud as their six strings, but pretty close if I use a pick.  And warm good tone,
