Hi Monterey.........surprisingly, very good. I put a cheap set of medium acoustic strings on it just to try it out and was very pleased with the sound. Gave it a run on the amp to check the piezo and again was very pleased with the way it came out. I mounted the pickup to the bass side of the neck instead of under the lid to see if it would pickup a lot of handling noise..............nope, worked out fine :)
