Belinda is using a rod piezo under the saddle on that bass, as she points out in the video.

Feedback like this is common for acoustic upright bass instruments with a piezo somewhere on the bridge.  There's an inside joke about cutting up flip flops to fill the F holes of the bass to prevent the feedback that is demonstrated at the end of the video.

A lot of bass players EQ this out with a narrow pass filter or stuff a rag in the afterlength of the strings and the top beyond the bridge.  So that might lead to the source of the feedback.

One of the UK'ers I would have like to have met on my frequent business trips, but paths never crossed.  It was funny one afternoon when I was sitting on the bank of the River Cam and a guy riding a bike with a banjo strapped to his back stopped to listen to me play my CBG and chat.  He says, "you don't happen to know Belinda, do you?"
