I just finished one and am working on another. I used 25 1/2 scale on both and I'm very happy with them. used the G,B and E strings from a light set of strings and tuned it to DAD. I play it all the time and hardly touch my 4 string CBG anymore. They are a blast to play.

Hi all...I'm wanting to build a strumstick - any suggestions / helpful hints out there? Is the frets & neck length on a strumstick the same as on a normal dulcimer? Thanks...Joni

LOL It appears that I own several brand new dulcimers,( not CBG), due to a huge debt owed me.When I get this worked out, if stock DOES end up as my payment, I'll be looking to sell.
This may be cleared up soon or depending on if I have to litigate , may take a while.
I'm not interested in taking stock as payment, but will if thats the only way I can this debt owed me satisfied.
I'm highly stressed right now and very close to completely losing my temper,I make a good friend, but a very bad enemy,,,,,,,,and I'll do what I have to,,,within the law.But it AINT easy.
