hey all Briggs farm blues fest coming up; July 9,10 featuring moreland and arbuckle,Honeyboy Edwards , Macarnold and more will be a great show i'll be there saturday and posible friday anyone else plan on showing

Hi Pa I'm here in York. Saw a documentary called It Might Get Loud about 2 weeks ago it featuring the Edge, Jimmy Page and Jack White in the first minute Jack strings up a single string thing and play's it. I later found out was a Diddley Bow. Some YouTube research on delta blues and the Cigar Box fever was born in me. First build in process as I type this. I do liken this to an addiction I think Ed from Mercer got it right it becoming a lifestyle.

Hi all, my names Ed and I live in nothwest pa mercer county in stoneboro. been a member here for a few months. Absolutely head over heals for cbg's. I have made 7 so far and even started my own business Bayou Blues Guitars. Have 3 hangin in a guitar shop right now. It's not an addiction, it's a lifestyle !!! Even did a bluegrass festival last weekend as a vendor to get the word out about cbg's. i also build and sell 1 watt 9 volt amps installed in recycled stereo speakers. I'm in the process of building a 4X 10 amp cabinet and installing mic amps with 2 6 inch speakers and hooking up a seperate amp for stomp box all to run on 9 volt batteries. People were blown away at the festival over the sound of my amps and I sold 2 while there. Anyway hope to get to know everyone here and thanks for setting up this page. Peace !!

Hello all,
I'm new here, have played the six string for a couple of years, saw Shane on the news the other day and it changed my world of music. I have always loved the Deep Delta Blues sound, now I have found it. In the process of making my first CBG, can't wait to try her out. By the way, I'm from Hershey area. Thanks for putting together this group.
