Has anyone used the foam that comes off foam paint brushes to cover the piezos? Just thought about it yesterday as I was walking by them. Couldn't find any foam covered tape. I thought that might work. Does anyone know if it would or not? Thanks.

While your there ,you might want to look in the plumbing dept. at the copper fitting . I picked up some there about an inch or 11/2" cheap . they work good too . Just have to get the bar codes off.

Good cheap slide are available at Lowe's Hardware.
In the specialty drawers in the fastener section.
Steel bushings .. Buck .50 each. ($ 1.50)

Have any of you seen these? They actually work ok and come with 110v adapters. They are super easy to take apart and install in a cigar box. I like to use them to make matching guitar/amp sets. Plus, they can easily be converted to run off a 9v battery. I actually used to buy them from Best Buy, but they are getting more and more difficult to find. Cheap Amp!

works fine... pots a little scratchy and the speakers sound like a t0's something "solid state" amp... yes... a steal and fits a "vintage" CBG vibe...
