Dgbd tuning is the same as 5 string banjo, so banjo tab should work as well as banjo chords.

I know his stuff sure helped me on my path. Sort of a Zen Satori moment after beating my head against the wall. I still have a long way to go, but I'm able to make much more melodic noise now.

Justin Johnson makes the comment on one of his videos not to worry about weather its a minor or 7th chord or whatever, if it calls for a G minor or C 7th or whatever just play a G or C. Simple but it works.

After pondering some, I realized that I CAN play your "2-0-2" tab with the slide if I don't actually play the bass string. That way I can play both your tabs so far and the "2-0-2" just becomes "X-0-2" because I put the slide against the top string, second fret; play the middle string open; and don't play the bass string.

(Probably nobody cares but me, but I've gotta' have something to keep my mind occupied.)

Nice tab.

I can make everything work on an unfretted, slide 3-string except for the 2-0-2 pattern 4 measures before the end. For that I need to put the slide on the 7th fret position and strum just the middle and bass strings--leaving the treble string silent. (I guess the tab would be x-7-7.)

I know a lot of you guys are confident with making fretboards, but I'm still enamored of my primitive slide-only guitars.

There are discussions elsewhere on CBG Nation about publishing complex tabs to help advanced players. That's great, but we all need more basic tabs like this one to help us learn to play without unreasonable amounts of effort. Please keep 'em coming.
