Yes that's it, just follow and keep cutting till it stops, sometimes you have to try in  a few places, just be prepared to resloder if you cut the wrong wire, I have cut the wrong thing before and killed the radio ....but its around the antnne  that will silince it for just guitar playong

I cut what I am thinking you mean and still radio static and station. the tube is wrapped around a plastic tube that has prongs coming out soldered to board if the helps.

cool, it will be wire wrapped many times around a small cardboard tube that looks like an empty toilet paper tube....follow it and cut it after that...it should go quite on the spot!!!

you need to cut the anttene wire....follow it and cut it right after the thing that swilres around that cardboard thing

check out this cool 9 dollar radio I found on ebay...its just begging to be a hipster guitar amp....its still over there for sale on ebay...just 9 bucks!!!!!
