It was a little to hot  and distorted Danny sounded like I wanted a old radio sound and I didn't I use the Presonus mobile firewire interface.

Thanks Turtle it is the punch in the gut line in the song it can make a grown crusty man cry and I have and seen Mr. Prine do just that. Gets to me thinking of the ones that suffer.

I'll never forget hearing this for the first time and it hitting me like a ton of bricks when he sings 'there's a hole in daddy's arm where all the money goes'  Agreed that it's one of the best songs ever.  Nice.

I suppose I will have a few defective messes myself...im going to start working with an audio interface, but maybe I don't need one, cause I thought you first run sounded good....

It sounded fine then I posted it and then it didn't sound fine so I remixed the guitar and much better.
