We are organizing a CBG workshop held one Saturday a month at the 61 roadhouse & kitchen in Webster Groves MO. (St. Louis Area).  This is also the home to the St. Louis CBG festival each year.

Bill Kunz of 61 has been generous in offering us a place to meet, practice, discussed ideas and what ever members decide to do with the time. Gary Herget and myself are contacts for this club and are open to ideas to make this a fun club. As soon as we have commitment from members, we can set up a Saturday each month to meet mornings. We haven't set a day or start time as of yet. We need to know who can commit at least to a start up and discuss as a group when and how we want to run this. Possibilities are great!

I got the cool tee shirt... :-)

Today is Saturday, our next meet will be next Saturday the 18th. Hope to see everyone there.

Had four show up today, Mr. C myself and 2 newer guys Russ and Jason. We all got together and played and talked and played, even got something going with the mountain dulcimer. Great time today, now have to wait another month, bummer.

Sorry gals and gents...had to work.

Get ready for another free clubhouse next Saturday. Bring you CBG, you vocals and any special interest or style.

My house got broken into so I wasn't able to make it to the last gathering. Both cameras and that Tascam recorder are gone. I'll have no way of recording this next meet. Looking forward to seeing everyone this coming weekend!

Two camera's, you'll survive, but you'll need you guitars! Get a dog too!

Wish it was just a couple of cameras. Two microphones, a cell phone, one guitar, (1980's electra working man with two Duncan Pearly gates pickups) and a lot of really off the wall stuff. Like my house shoes. Who would want someone else's house shoes? All in all it's just stuff. Nothing that can't be replaced. The mess the house was in I could have done without. At least nothing was damaged. Other than my nerves. Being here by myself for two nights without a phone. I've already replaced the guitar. Got a 1970's Epiphone Wilshire. ALL original. Plays like a dream! Twice the guitar the Electra was. Needs a shim under the neck to bring the body end up a bit. Already have two white Duncan Pearly gates to slap in it. Going to do the same 'spin-o-split' wiring to go from dual to single coils using the tone knobs. I'd take a pic but.....LOL

As far as a dog goes I work to many hours. It wouldn't be a good life for any dog. Plus when you have a lot of folks in and out the dog gets used to people. They get kinda friendly. I'd love to have a dog again. Guess I'll have to break down and win the lotto.

Sorry to hear about your troubles Rat. Hang in there and be strong, like you said it's just stuff glad you weren't home.

Unfortunately I'll be working and collecting food for scouting for food this satday

OK, scouts is a good thing : )
