Thank you Friends. The thing is, you don't have to play the full chords. Often just the needed part of the chords is used. A chord contains a minimum of three notes. That makes 3 - two note combinations. These "chord fragments" are known as double stops. Look at the tab and it will clarify what I am saying.

You sure make that sound sweet and Robert like.   Nice.

I watched a youtube documentary/movie on Robert Johnson with Danny Glover narrating.  It was good.  I think the title might have been 'Dark Was The Night'.    Old Robert had some LONG and SKINNY fingers.
