We are organizing a CBG workshop held one Saturday a month at the 61 roadhouse & kitchen in Webster Groves MO. (St. Louis Area).  This is also the home to the St. Louis CBG festival each year.

Bill Kunz of 61 has been generous in offering us a place to meet, practice, discussed ideas and what ever members decide to do with the time. Gary Herget and myself are contacts for this club and are open to ideas to make this a fun club. As soon as we have commitment from members, we can set up a Saturday each month to meet mornings. We haven't set a day or start time as of yet. We need to know who can commit at least to a start up and discuss as a group when and how we want to run this. Possibilities are great!

Great time jamming with the rat ill work out a more complete progression for next time we can take on some hillcontry syle jam

Smilingdog, I'll have to remember to start brining my camera. Not the best but it'll do. Find a place to set it up so it gets everyone in a shot. Was awesome jamming with you and your harp!

Egyptpunk, it'd be cool to sit down with you and try to make something happen between a guitar and dulcimer. Bet a few of use could come up with some nice stuff on the spot.

Mr. C. Hillcountry??? don't know if I can do that pick'in and grinn'in stuff. : ) Totally cool jammen with ya! Make us up a set of cords and changes. That way we can both trade off playing leads!

Don't remember the drummers name. Sorry about that dude. Kinda bad with names. It was really sweet jamming with a drummer. Haven't done that in years!

Rat, you have that new Tascam recorder. Anyway I finally up loaded you guys on main page, go have a look see.

August Club House Homemade Jamerama

Mr.C, Because the Blue Rat, and drummer who walked in off the streets for first time.

The drummer said his name was JC. Now a CBG fan.

Thanks Gary, JC was is a nice guy and good drummer. He said he bought your CBG resonator for his son, after watching him I'd say he's got the bug.

That was FUN! Great jamming with Mr. C. and JC.

Was also AWESOME jamming with you Smilingdog! Need to get a recording of you playing harp next month. Totally cool.

Who's coming to the club house workshop Saturday morning Sept 20th ?

I'll be there, but I still haven't actually made a CBG that I kept for myself...all I have is this CB Dulcimer.  Aside from CB instruments I do have harmonicas, a mandolin, a dulcimer, a banjo, acoustic guitars, an electric guitar and amp, a tamborine, a ukulele and a couple of zither like instruments that need fixing up.  I also have a digital 8 track multitrack recorder that I could use to record any jamming going on.

Of course I wouldn't want to bring all that stuff, but if there is something in that list that one of you really wants to twang on in the future, just let me know.

I'll be there, but prolly won't have bells on.

Wear the bells just in cace we don't have a drummer
Hope you're ready to blow. Some harp Steve got a great ja for you
