Old Ash Newest Build with a half a p-bass pickup

These are a few pics of the latest build completed to fill a custom order in Austin, Texas.  The Cohiba box is foiled lined and has a half a DiMarzio p-bass pickup located in the neck position.  The neck is Mahogany and the fret board, headstock and heel are Ash.  Fret position markers and inlay are Mahogany.

From the research I did on it I found that they are each like a mini humbucker.  The total ohms on the one used here was just about 6000 and it sounded great.  On this build, the pickup was provided by the customer.

Dan - that is some exceptional work. Great looking guitar. My favourite part is the sound holes, how did you do those?

Life is good with a CNC router :)  I laid them out in corel draw and routed them using my cnc.
