Thanks for the pictures Nancy! I played for a square dance here in WV on Sat. night with an 80 year old caller. Those cats were really all promenading!  I understand they have Pa's fiddle in the museum out there and once a year they take it out for someone to play.

Yup Unc. You may be better off that way. I refer to myself as a music prostitute for some paying gigs since I sometimes end up playing stuff I don't really want to in exchange for the cash. Every now and then I can play what I like and folks dig it. That's why my favorite gigs are volunteering music for a good cause - way better than money!
