Thanks for the shout out..you might be interested in this little clip. It was bit of a set-up, as the TV company called me in as an expert to look at a CBG at a pawn shop...but they didn't tell me the guy who was trying to sell it had made it..so it was a good job I was polite and pulled my punches a bit for the TV audience! There are loads of people trying to sell CBGs on eBay...many (but not necessarily all) of them are stupidly cheap, badly made and unplayable...do a bit of research..a fool and his money are easily parted..so don't be a fool! I'm not  pushing my guitars, because to be honest I don't see CBN as a forum for selling guitars. I'm not after preaching to the converted, I sell my stuff online and face-to-face at shows and festivals to people who have probably never even heard of the idea of a cigar box guitar.

Wow!  I hope he wasn't too offended.

I kind of get his point about the pickups, but I wouldn't use a piezo-equipped CBG; that's just my taste though.

I'm not worried about offending him..after all it was his intention to get himself on TV so he could show off his stuff, but I don't think he'll use this as a promotional video for his guitars.

anything from John McNair (Red Dog Guitars) or Kurt Schoen (Schoen guitars) or Matty Baratto (Barratto Guitars) is exceptional.

not at a grand a time they're not.

even at £400 they're not worth that much to me.

cbg are suppose to cheap and cheerful.

they are much better guitars for that kind of money.

OK  they are six strings but more work goes into them than a cbg.

I know some will disagree but there ya go.
