Always good to see you doin' your thing and sharing your knowledge Justin! Helpful info and will help greatly for 4 string amatuers like myself, always been a little scared of that 4th :-(

I enjoyed the whole vid but must say I really enjoyed the out takes at the end, just you bein' you  :-)

And CBN folks, if you haven't gotten Justin's new "Smoke and Mirrors" double CD set go to the main page and do yourselves a favor and order a copy. AWESOME music and the package includes 2 booklets with info and photos of the whole Smoke and Mirrors experience.

My question for your tunings is, does it mater between various packs of string, say heavy down to ultra lite gauge.

I know that my snark differs greatly between gauges and string types. How do you view this and have you found any variance?

Great lesson, Justin !   My first CBG was a four string , but I found I couldn't play with the 3rd thrown into the mix!   This really helps .   At about the 14:00 minute mark I got a little confused . ....Oh....I think I got it...  Standard tuning of the A-D-G-B strings are changed to A-D-G-C to be at the same intervals as standard tuned E-A-D-G strings....right!?!  Brilliant!!   That changes my G chord shape to a C chord.....correct?     Thanks!  My head hurts and I need to make a fretted four string.   That's a good thing !
