Chicago CBG Builders gathering in March. Who's in?!

I am looking at space to have an afternoon/evening gathering of CB instrument builders from Chicago and nearby (depending on how far you'd want to travel!)

I am looking at a weekend in the second half of March, in a tavern with a back room where we can stay all day/night.

This will be primarily for builders and friends of builders. I don't think I'll open this up to the public, but we might!

'depending how far'..... I'm three hours away, but you may be the nearest cbg group to me. I am interested but I need more details before I decide to commit.

On a side note: My wife runs a small (62 sites)county campground and it would make a wonderful summer time weekend to camp, make cbgs, and jam. Would the Chicago group be interested?

Got a dad in St. Jo, so not so far as all that! Maybe a Midwest gathering!

The campground is Cade Lake near Sturgis, Mi. Take a look, it would be perfect for a gatering of cbg builders, jammers and families. Lots of activities for everyone.

The camping idea seems very inviting . . . but, Michigan in march might be a bit frosty on the ol' fingerboard.

Cade Lake is open from May through October. The camping idea is mentioned as another site for a summer time gathering. What other ideas might we come up with?

How about this? Right next door to the Old Town School of Folk Music:

They have a back room, and always have live music groups meeting there for jams and whatnot. Plus the food and booze are good.

Or this, four doors the other way, at Wilson and Lincoln. They have an apartment upstairs they let folks use for gatherings so long as you are ordering food and drink:

Did Diane tell you guys about her 1st idea? She mentioned a gathering at a nudist park, Of course I explained that a few might not be able to attend,,,,,,,, Dont worry guys ,I talked her out of it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,lol
