Internal Pickups.

You know the small Earphones - Buds are they called ? - You get them everywhere, everytime you buy something electrical from phones to radios etc etc.

Building my latest CBG just to see what would happen I stuck a pair inside it, plugged into my Mini Test Amp and the tiny ear pieces picked up.

Anyone any experience of this ?

oh and by the way, I'm with Chris in regards to using white spirit to remove sticker glue. Used it this weekend and it worked a treat with no damage to the box.

The inner sanctum finally finished can start work on some CBG's again, her indoors said are you putting a bed in there their never bloody satisfied I told her its better than me being down the pub

White spirit works a treat.

There are a few things that can be used but it's a good idea to try them first on the inside of the box to make sure there is no staining on bare wood. Meths, acetone and cellulose thinners (varnish finish may soften so try it where it will not show first) work as does WD40. Mr sheen works but the whole box will need doing as it obviously leaves a shine. Never tried the hairdryer but seems plausible but the golden rule is always try first on an area that will not show.
