I think I was talking to Ben Gitty about all the work I was doing on my damn book plus my Guitar World column, building guitars and other things when I exclaimed, "this morning started years ago."

Sometimes song titles unexpectedly leap out of your mouth.  

Here's the current cover for my book.  I pretty much hate the look, but the folks at the publishing company say it's a hit.  We're still in editing and just yesterday, I asked them to shuffle all the chapters.  Being an author has turned me into an absolute bitch.  

I'm sure I just caused at least one editor to drink himself silly last night. 

I'm wayyy too passionate about this stuff.

The book is slated for release in October.  You'll be the first to know when pre-sale and autographed copies are available.

There's no gigs for me this weekend, but next week is the huge CreekFire Fest in York, PA.  Shane Speal and the Snakes will be performing right on the Codorus Creek Dock in front of blazing bonfires on the creek itself.  More info here.
