I had just picked up this banjo from an artist friend who decorated the back and was headed for home. That's when I was clipped from behind and rolled down a...

Thanks RTZ. I Plan to go slow but I do have an instrument demo Tues. at a local college so we'll see how that goes. Yeah, I'm pretty sure most of the bruises were from the seat belt and I'm glad I landed wheels down in the water - I can't imagine how I would have released the belt and crawled out if it was upside down. I told a friend today I'm glad to be here to feel the pain! Next time way less drama for sure. Oh, I think the pickup was doing about 65 and on my way back from the hospital I noticed not a single skid mark before the impact. He was sober so I'm guessing texting or something like that.

When you crawl out of or are dragged out of a car like that everyday is sweeter bruises and all. I'm guessing you had on a seatbelt. Way cool banjo but from now on make the story less dramatic. if the damage to the rear was from the other car you were more then clipped. Glad your in one piece and playing take it easy for awhile Jim.

Thanks AGP. My old body might take a while to recuperate but I'm glad to be here to feel the pain!

Thanks Maddog. Over a week later and I'm still hurting and walking like I'm even older than I am. But still thankful that it wasn't worse.

Thanks J. I think it's not too good for the playing. I can't play fiddle right now due to sore shoulders but banjo and git don't hurt too much.

Sure glad your ok Jim!
Not that i would want to get clipped and roll into the river, but if it helps me play like you i might think about it!
As always great playing and singing!
