thanks Maddog and Steve.  I enjoyed writing the lyrics and collaborating with all the others on the original version.  I had tried for a year to do something with them before offering the words to friends here and it turned out excellent.

 I'm glad I could finally sing and play the song myself.  It's been a long time comin'.

I'm sorry I sat on the video so long before posting.

I will do this for April's open mic, a version of You Are My Sunshine, and I still have to come up with a 3rd song to do in minor tuning.

Back for more - I've had it in my head all day.  It was a great collab and I'm reminded of how inspired I was by the lyrics.  It just sort of assembled itself.

Also, this reverse-inverted clawhammer thing you have going on is something I need to explore. It works great here and I'm sure it does on a whole bunch of other songs.
