Show us your number one stringed instrument. The one you would choose if you could have only one. You can put more than one in the photo, but put number one on the left.

I can play the big box tenor on the left in any key, plugged or unplugged.   Center is my fave guitar, but not as versatile a player in open G.    For plugged in, nothing else makes me sound as good as the swampy.

Doggone it Unc. For me that changes from day to day. I'm gonna have to think about this one for a minute or two and get back to the discussion.

My favorite build, super nasty, 1 bass string, 3 tenor strings, 2 outputs, 30" scale.

Erasmo, you surprised me a bit.  I don't know you well yet and I tended to think you were more of a 6 string guy.   That is a mighty handsome 4 stringer.  Good choice.

Me too, Jim.  I have been pretty fickle over the years with my faves - and quite a few former faves are gone.   I hope to keep the chosen 3 forever.

Yes, Cello.  With a name like yours, I knew you would pick a refined and sophisticated piece.   Nice choice.  I would like to take that for a test drive.

Thanks UJ! Everyone who has played da' Cello Bow (some of them real musicians not a hack like me) loves it!!

I'm with Jim. Changes daily.

It may be the one I'm about to finish...just don't know yet. I could say with some confidence that it's most likely a four string though.

Well Unc, if it was just to play, I'd go with my CB Fiddle but I can't sing too well with it so I narrowed it down to these two. They both sound good acoustic and great plugged in. The 4 string gives me a bunch of tuning options which I like to have but the fretted 3 string is one I could easily make my main instrument.

These are my two favorites.  Second Hand Rose and the Last Waltz.  I like Second Hand Rose the best, but I play and sing unfavorably with either one.

Uncle, this is way too hard a thing to do. It's a "Sophie's Choice" situation. Cruel to even ask us to choose...........

This is my daily player. Built like a brick house. It has a 27 mm piezo and sounds good with fretting or slide.

This is mine.  My first real player and the one that really made me fall in love with it all.  I've made a few that are better, but this is the desert island guitar.

This is a beauty !

I really like the Las Cabrillas with the black hardware.

If I had to choose at this very moment.
